Mediation with Amy Shelf
Mediation is a process by which parties involved in a conflict, or potential conflict, come together to craft their own solution with the help and guidance of a neutral third party. Sometimes the parties have lawyers, and sometimes they don't. The nature and scope of agreements achieved through mediation are often beyond what a court or judge has the ability or leeway to do. In that way, mediation can bring about the most workable ways to solve problems, and ones that can address the non-legal aspects of a case or conflict. Mediation can also be a very cost-effective approach to resolving disputes or developing agreements.
I mediate primarily trust and estate disputes, as well as other kinds of conflicts. In addition, I offer mediation services for a couple developing a prenuptial (premarital) agreement, or for a family dealing with estate planning challenges.
Please contact me for more information or to arrange for a mediation.
